- My name's Mariana. I live in Romania and I wish see everyone to read my story. My parents deserted me in hospital at 7 months because my father was blind and my mother it was mute and deaf, and because she didn't have the possibility for my growth. My sister was with uncle in Bucharest because he didn't have children, and my brother was by my mother's home. For 18 years I grew up in an orphanage and my childhood was unhappy. The big girls hit me everyday end every night and stole my food. Every night they put me to fight with my friend, and to wash their legs and wash the clothes. When I went to school the big girls put me to steal the food of my school and then in the evening hit me because I didn't steal the food. And I say I never stole the food or money from anyone. I grow but I can never forget my childhood; it was unhappy.When it was Christmas the big girls put me to carol because they needed the money and stole from me all I had of food and money, and put me in the room with little girls. Everyday in the refectory the big girls ate most all my food and I ate the remainder. For me Christmas is not exiting because I remember all my childhood, and i know Jesus was born on Christmas. I believe in god and in Jesus. Everyday when I was going to my school I searched for food and the big girls put me to beg in the street. When I was over with school I left the orphanage and I went to my parents though I did not know them. My mother didn't love me ever, she threw me out of the home to sleep out in every weather, winter or fall, and when I had money from work then my mother would take my money. Day work and night I slept out of the house, and with no food, and I mean when I worked it was mostly to borrow. When I was 19 years old, my mother died in 15 March 1997 and I stayed with my father before he died. My father died in 1 October 1997. I went to Resita to search for work.When I was 12 years old it was during the Romania Revolution 1989-1990; you know about Ceausescu. I was in an orphanage when I saw one movie with Jackie Chan: Twin Dragons. I loved this movie so much, and when I'm sad I watch a Jackie Chan movie everyday. He makes me happy and I forget all my troubles. That is my story about my hero Jackie Chan. You know how it is to not have parents but what I learned about life from my hero Jackie Chan is that I must be strong. I'm lucky because I have 2 brothers and I have my hero Jackie Chan. I think every day, why don't I have parents or when can I see my hero in real life? I have my dreams and I hope to really meet him. When I first came to Resita to search work, for one month I stayed by my aunt. She is a sister with my mother and treated me like a child, all the money I made she took. When I went to my friend's I mostly came home regular hours or when I watched TV or when I wanted a bath the water everything cost much money. I departed from my aunt because she left me to sleep in the street one night and go to my friend's to sleep that night. I stayed with my friend one month and the parents of my friend again took all my money. I went to search for the rent because I didn't have any support as everybody took all my money. I slept in courtyard schools at night. In the month of November I slept out because I didn't have anywhere to sleep. I received one room where I worked. Mr Director Ionescu gave me this room to sleep. I stay in this room from month November within month March. Now I give thanks to god because he gives the power to pass over all the trouble and as I have found this rental, and it's not raining on me and not snowing on me. And now I stay in the rental with my colleague. He grew up with me in the orphanage as a little child. This boy I consider like my brother because I grew with him together in the orphanage.Now i hate this life for all my soul.
